Teresa Christine Hobbs (USA) was born at Honolulu (USA). At the age of seven she moved to Italy where she lived for 23 years. She has been living in Honduras since 1994.
She studied Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Catania (Italy) and holds a Master Degree in Progettazione Avanzata dell'Insegnamento della Lingua e Cultura Italiana a Stranieri (Advanced Design of Teaching Italian - Language and Culture - as FL) from Ca’ Foscari University of Venezia (Italia).
In Honduras she discovered her passion for teaching. She has taught English Literature at UNAH, Spanish and Latin American Literature for the Summer Program of Calvin College, Spanish at UNITEC (Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana), where she also created the Italian program/courses. Currently she is coordinating the language program (Centro para el Desarrollo de Competencias Lingüísticas) at UJCV (Universidad José Cecilio del Valle). She also works as a translator-interpreter of Italian for the Italian Embassy.
